Dan Edward "Dan" Aukroyd (born July 1, 1952) is a Canadian actor, comedian, screenwriter and singer. He is best known for his role as Ray Stantz in the Ghostbusters film franchise. He auditioned to voice Charlie in Oliver & Company 2.

For Disney, he made a special guest appearance as Rev. Mike Walker in Home Improvement in the episode "Losing My Religion". He also played Jimmy Flaherty in Celtic Pride, Grocer in Grosse Pointe Blank, Art Weber in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Captain Thurman in Pearl Harbor.
