David Wayne Spade (born July 22, 1964) is an American actor, voice artist, comedian, and television personality whowas best known for being a cast member on the NBC late-night sketch comedy and variety show Saturday Night Live from 1990 to 1996 and for his roles as Dennis Finch on the NBC sitcom Just Shoot Me! from 1997 to 2003, C.J. Barnes on the ABC sitcom 8 Simple Rules from 2004 to 2005 and currently stars as Russell Dunbar on the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement from 2007 to 2013

He voiced Kuzco in The Emperor's New Groove and Kronk's New Groove. However, in the video games, House of Mouse, and The Emperor's New School, he was replaced by J.P. Manoux.
