James Earl Jones (born January 17, 1931) is an American actor who is probably best known.

He provided the voice of Mufasa in Disney's The Lion King and its 1998 sequel The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. He was also one of the international hosts in Fantasia 2000. He also hosted The Story Behind The Story: The Lion King on the 2001 2-disc DVD of Beauty and the Beast. Jones reprises his role as Darth Vader in the Star Tours: The Adventures Continue attraction at Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
