Jennifer Love Hewitt (born February 21, 1979) is an American actress, producer, author, television director, and singer-songwriter who rose to fame in teenage popular culture for her roles as Sarah Reeves Merrin on the Fox teen drama series Party of Five from 1995 to 2000 and as Julie Nicole James in the 1997 slasher film I Know What You Did Last Summer and its 1998 sequel. She was also well known for her role as Melinda Gordon on the CBS supernatural drama series Ghost Whisperer from 2005 to 2010, and as Riley Parks in the Lifetime drama series The Client List from 2012 to 2013.

She voiced Madellaine in the 2002 Disney direct-to-video film, The Hunchback of Notre Dame II, Medusa in an episode of Hercules: The Animated Series, and herself in The Weekenders. Although Madellaine doesn't sing in the film, Hewitt sings the song "I'm Gonna Love You" for the end credits, possibly in Madellaine's point-of-view.
