James Eugene "Jim" Carrey is a Canadian-American actor, comedian, impressionist, screenwriter, producer, and stand-up comedian. He voiced Ebenezer Scrooge, in all his various forms, as well as all three of the ghosts in Robert Zemeckis' adaptation of A Christmas Carol, as well as providing motion capture. Carrey is best known for his films such as Dumb and Dumber, The Mask, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Batman Forever, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (and its sequel: When Nature Calls), Liar Liar, Bruce Almighty, and The Cable Guy.

He and most Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls props were featured in Disney MGM Studios' Studio Backlot Tour in 1995. He also played adult Joe Wenteworth in Simon Birch.
