Role in the film
He only made one short appearance. When Duchess and her kittens find themselves by a bridge, Berlioz, cold and wet, looks for his mother. Berlioz hears a sound and sees a figure. He called his mother and the figure made a louder croaking sound, scaring Berlioz. Duchess told him that it was only a frog, but Berlioz added that it "had a mouth like a hippopumas." The frog made one more sound to tease Berlioz and then no more was heard or seen of the frog since. This frog, or possibly another frog, also was heard when Toulouse explained a dream he had about Edgar Balthazar kidnapped him, the frog's croaking causing him to realize that the "dream" had actually been reality.
